Terms of Service
Last updated: November 2, 2026.
The service
FitMerge is an online tool that merges, repairs and converts FIT, GPX and TCX activity files, with health-check, repair and reconciliation reports. We work to keep the service available and accurate, but merging and repair involve judgment calls: you are responsible for checking the reconciliation and repair report before using an output, especially before deleting your original recordings.
Accounts
You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. One account per person or team; do not share credentials outside your team. The free plan can also be used without an account.
Plans and limits
Each plan has merge-count, files-per-merge, file-size and feature limits, enforced on our servers and described on the pricing page. Attempting to bypass limits (for example by splitting one workload across many free accounts) is a violation of these terms.
Your data
You keep all rights to the files you process. You grant us only the permission needed to process, store (for up to 24 hours), and return your results, as described in the privacy policy. Do not submit files you do not have the right to process.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to break the law, to process data you have no right to, or to attack the service or other users. We may suspend accounts that do.
Liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before a claim. Always keep your original files — the reconciliation and repair reports exist so any merge or repair can be checked against them.
Changes
We may update these terms and the service; material changes will be noted on this page with a new date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
